Charlotte joined Lister Langley in 2015 as a trainee Legal Executive. In July 2017, she qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive. Charlotte has worked alongside Mark Lister for the past seven years. In October 2019, they completed a management buy out of Fortress Law Limited and re-named and re-branded the firm, Lister Langley Limited. The firm is now owned and managed by Mark and Charlotte, both of whom permanently work in the business meeting the needs of their valued clients.
Charlotte began her legal studies in 2010 by reading law at A-Level and then embarked upon the CILEx course with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Charlotte has over eight years working experience in the Private Client sector specialising in the preparation and completion of Wills, Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and Probate. Charlotte assists clients with complex and high valued Probate cases. Charlotte is supported by her legal assistant, Nicola McNamara.
Charlotte also advises clients in respect of Tax and Estate Planning and works very closely with Accountants and Independent Financial Advisers to assist mutual clients with bespoke advice. Charlotte has a large client base both locally and nationally, particularly in Bristol, Wiltshire, London and Manchester.
Charlotte loves to spend time with her husband James, and her two children, Martha and Frederick. Charlotte also enjoys keeping fit, walking her dog Hector, practicing yoga, Pilates and paddle boarding. She is keen to travel too.
